It works also for files with some weird invisible characters (these files came from my Mac at work). Thanks Again Lindsay!! and Scan for and attempt recovery........ these files where found in the nprotect folder.Mac files???

Since I had the file in the c:\temp directory I just went to the command prompt and did a del *.*Problem solved.!Thanks. Most of the files are transferred across, but a few aren't. You're a lifesaver... in dos, navigate to the directory of the offending folder2.

The file name I was trying to delete was "Fwd_ FW_ Transplant....." On the first ten tries, I did not realize there were *spaces* in the file name!
